Well crap: we drank a bunch of dranks...that's for our girl shannon. It was a drank sort of thing eve before so we slept in. The cliff walk in front of the house is gorgeous and you will be greeted by a number of large lizards sunning themselves on rocks, enormous houses, happy people walking.
If you have a friend like Darlene, you will also return to chorizo and egg breakfast burritos. So good.
Before we drank the night before, I reserved spa treatments at dza-kan-ha. Recommended by the owner of our house, this is what the doctor ordered (not me, just figuratively). We all enjoyed massages, scrubs, facials. Again, not fan girling but please go here. They are new and owned by locals and so professional and good at their craft. Then we needed a rest of course. We re-emerged from post massage coma for sunset. At Punta sur: it is $6 but worth it. I was super sad to see that the restaurant had closed at the point because it was an amazing way to do sunset, but the party is what you make it!
On a recommendation, we went to nomads restaurant, attached to a hostel, and relatively new. There's a shopping and bar area across the road as well.
The ambience at nomads is great. Perfect property. The food and drinks, however, signal that the establishment is on its way out. Weak drinks, food was super meh, DJ was sooooo loud. However, there were house ducks walking around and that was cool.
So please, can an investor go in and fix this? It could be such a great place! Please if you're looking for property, fix it. I really would love to see it become a great place.
And back to the hot tub we went. Everyone on the island got to hear me serenade them with songs so, you're welcome.
