When we all arose like the walking dead, Darlene make another Mexican brunch feast. Seriously. She needs to be on your vacations. She is for hire to travel. Ok she isn't but she's an RN who's incredibly good and speaks Spanish and makes breakfast. And she's stinking hilarious.
Anywho...we pooled it. Hours of floating and staring at the amazing surroundings. Wondering how we got so lucky to be there and making plans for the future. THIS is what girls trip is about. Spend time with your people, make grand plans, solve relationship issues, fix everything. With wine of course.
Ok, so we mobilized. Went to Playa Norte where all the Carnival fun was starting. We went to a place called M7 for snacks. It is kind of weird having a muelle 7 and M7 next to each other. I made up my own story that it is fueling family drama trying to steal each others money. It was really good drinks and food...emphasis on the drinks. M7 Beach Food Music

Piece de resistance: the Joint Reggae cruise. I have been looking forward to it for 4 years and it didn't disappoint. Imagine a smallish group on a catamaran with precarious positioned band above on the cabin and mast. Imagine 3 hours of live music, some reggae some not. Imagine the joint band kicking ass while everyone gets to know each other and then invites the cool kids to your house. This is what we had. It exceeded every expectation of the event. Well then our golf cart broke down at a convenient store. See first post. Don't rent from Gomez or DC explorer. But, we found Swiss friends to share our view with. Overall an enormous win.
