We went to mango cafe after bidding farewell to Ems. Ems is my bestie. Seriously. So happy she could join. She also is the owner of all the dances, all the amazing close saves from creepers. She is...like pretty much...the best.

It's carnival. There are dance groups from 10-80 practicing in the street. You need to do it: cooking and culture is where it's at y'all. If you don't want to learn, you don't want to love Mexico, well, this isn't your jam. It's ok. We are all different. But if I'm not immersed, I didn't do my job

We are now exhausted. And mikes New York pizza delivers. A few back and forths and we have beautiful caprese and pizza🍕
As we retired from the evening we recapped. Ithis is the kind of trip one needs to reevaluate what makes you happy. Over the last month, I've had several friends in their 40s and early 50s die. End of game. And I'm 46. I don't want to get too deep, but life is yours to capture. If it doesn't bring you joy, take a couple days to list your passion, make a to do list, a 5 year goal list, take a deep breath, maybe have a good cry you've needed, then laugh your ass off at every opportunity to love the friends that you want to be your soft landing.
It doesn't have to be far away, it just needs to be an escape. No kids. No husbands. No drama.
